This guide explains which Amazon marketplaces ProductChimp supports and how currency is handled for each.
Supported Marketplaces
ProductChimp is built around Amazon's regional storefronts rather than currencies. When you set up tracking in your dashboard, you select the Amazon domain you want to monitor. ProductChimp currently supports the following marketplaces:
North America:
amazon.com(United States)amazon.ca(Canada)
Europe & United Kingdom:
amazon.co.uk(United Kingdom)amazon.de(Germany)amazon.fr(France)amazon.es(Spain)amazon.it(Italy)
Asia-Pacific:
amazon.co.jp(Japan)
Settings Profiles
Each marketplace can have its own saved settings profile. This lets you configure and switch between different setups — for example, separate fee structures, thresholds, or preferences for each Amazon target — without having to reconfigure manually each time.

Currency
ProductChimp displays data in the local currency of the marketplace you're tracking. There's no currency selection — it's determined automatically by the storefront:
amazon.com → US Dollars ($) amazon.co.uk → British Pounds (£) amazon.co.jp → Japanese Yen (¥) amazon.de, .fr, .es, .it → Euros (€) amazon.ca → Canadian Dollars (CA$)
FAQs
Which Amazon marketplace should I start with?
Start with the marketplace where you're actively sourcing or selling. If you're based in the US and selling on amazon.com, that's your natural starting point. You can always add profiles for other marketplaces later.
Can I track products across multiple marketplaces at the same time?
ProductChimp is set to one active marketplace at a time, but since each marketplace has its own saved settings profile, switching between them is straightforward. You won't need to reconfigure from scratch each time.
What happens if I switch my active marketplace — do I lose my settings?
No. Your settings are saved per marketplace profile. Switching to a different marketplace loads that profile's configuration, and your previous marketplace settings remain intact.
Is there a way to compare pricing or profitability across different marketplaces?
Not directly within a single view. ProductChimp analyzes products within the context of the selected marketplace. To compare across regions, you'd need to run searches separately under each marketplace profile.
Why don't I see my country's Amazon marketplace listed?
ProductChimp currently supports the eight marketplaces listed above. If your region isn't included, it isn't supported yet. You can reach out to the ProductChimp team to request a marketplace — feedback like this helps prioritize future additions.
Can I change the currency display independently of the marketplace?
No — currency is tied to the marketplace. There's no standalone currency setting because the pricing data is pulled directly from each regional storefront in its local currency.
